225,000 sf neighborhood shopping center located on the 440 corridors and LeFante Way in Bayonne, NJ.
The original site was industrial vacant land located in a flood plain fourteen feet below mean water level and required 1,500,000 tons of fill material to provide proper grade. South Cove has over 2000 linear feet of River walks.
During this project we coordinated with NJ transit location of light rail and utilized pile foundations to transform the site into a viable commercial parcel in the city. Anchor tenants include Stop & Shop, Staples, TJ Max, Cinema 12, Massage Envy, Wendy’s, Houlihan’s, Dunkin Donuts as well as over 15 other tenants. We are currently working with Hilton to build a 120 room hotel located across from the Carribean Cruise Line “Cape Liberty Terminal”.
During the process of building South Cove Commons we also coordinated Development and infrastructure with our neighbor “The Bayonne Golf Course”.
We participated in the process to provide construction aggregate materials and other general contracting services to assist in developing the Scottish links course.
